Cool: They sent me it a day early and I enjoyed it a lot more than the first time I played it on PS4 because I stupidly bought into the hype at the time.
Uncool: Making trophies missable by not tracking them in chapter select so I can't get the Platinum without doing New Game+ and I'd rather not replay the whole game again just to get two trophies as it would devalue the whole experience overall. So I'm counting having 26/29 trophies as a 'master'. I might replay the game to get them eventually but I doubt it.

I'm aware of that, I was able to get all the comics and notes through it but the tools are not. Plus, The Suburbs is actually glitched. Straight-up can't get Ellie's Joke to pop up or the ice cream convo which apparently is what activates it. But I really appreciate you trying to help me. Just kind of annoyed because Naughty Dog have a huge target on their back because they "pushed their woke agenda" so I hoped they would make it pristine before release to try and prevent those people spreading more hate. Otherwise, this is the absolute best version of the first part of 'The Last of Us' and people who say otherwise are probably filled with hatred because Part II upset them. Anyway, thanks again and hope you can see this I don't know if comments on here work like they do on Letterboxd or not.
I've only just noticed this haha. No worries :) It's a shame that it doesn't work for the tools. I wasn't aware that that was the case. I've also ran into certain dialogue not triggering on my grounded+ playthrough. Thankfully I've got the platinum and played the game many many times so it wasn't a huge deal. Hopefully they'll iron out some of the small issues in a patch at some point. But yeah I agree, It's definitely the best version of the game. The AI being one of the most notable changes.
Don't worry. I don't expect people to go on the site unless they post something. I'm glad you were able to get the platinum. For me, I just don't really like replaying games often unless it's not a hugely story-driven game (Borderlands, Mario, etc.). I really like this game but the only thing that would compel me to replay it is the fact that I'd want to replay Part II. That being my favourite thing to ever exist, I don't really wanna replay either because of diminishing returns and so on, ya know. But it's nice to see you still get so much enjoyment on multiple playthroughs. I always get a paralysing fear that I'll realise something I love is actually bad, haha :)
