Although it's a huge step up from Mario Land 1, Mario Land 2 certainly has its flaws, like up until the last level, it's very easy. Also, there are only 4 tracks in the game that aren't a variation on the main theme, 2 of them are in the last level and another is in the credit roll. It also has screen crunch issues, but that's just because of it being on Game Boy. It's very ambitious for a Game Boy game, however, and its world design is pretty neat.
