A very solid game to start off the series with. Also a very good introduction to the genre of RPGs if you have never played one before. The graphics and music are instant classics and quite memorable. The story and characters are all engaging and entertaining.

The only criticism I have is that once you get all of the overworld abilities, shuffling though them all to find the one you need can be a bit annoying.
