Tales of Arise is a middle of the road release in the series where you beat up alien slave-masters with pretty forgettable party members. Combat is fun to play around with but is let down by a seriously lack-luster bestiary, twenty hours in you'll still be fighting the same dozen enemies from the first zone, but like now the dog has more spikes and it's green, woah; Genuinely the worst copy-paste job I've ever seen in an JRPG before. It also has some atrocious pop-in you'd expect out of a Switch port but for Playstation it's rather pathetic. Aside from the technical issues it's a decent looking game, character feel much less chibi-esque than most previous games.
