It really is one of the worst games you can play however it is fun when no one else is having fun too
It really isn’t as good as IV and I think people go into it thinking it’s going to be SMT IV part 2 but it isn’t. But. It’s a very fun and silly game even if it does have a heavy P4G filter on it

Best game in the world #kino
My first SMT game (that wasn’t persona) so I know it clouds my judgment but probably one of the best games on the 3DS. Gameplay is very solid and simple for a first SMT game, music is great, interesting plot and demon designs are fantastic even if they aren’t from kaneko. Being on the 3DS does hold it back but if you go in knowing it’s not going to be nocturne or SMT V I think you will have a lot of fun.

This was my first real fighting game and now that I’ve played other (better) games i don’t think it’s the best but it is fun. The aesthetics are very wild and of course the music is great. Very simple as a first FG but be aware it’s a lot different from other fighting games especially anime fighters.
Played Axl and that permanently ruined the character archetypes I choose for fighting games but Axl is just a silly little dude

The game is very stylish and gameplay is simple but when you learn it you can do some really fun and wild stuff. Angel designs are really fun to look at and fight against. Really hard to 100% but the challenge is fun. There is a plot but don’t worry to much about it the gameplay is the most important thing.

I don’t think you should play this game as your first P3 game and would strongly recommend playing FES but unfortunately I was dumb 15 year old and played this instead of FES as my first persona game. Anyway.
P3 has a really solid plot and the gameplay is like every other JRPG but the visual novel elements are great. It is a long game but the character growth makes it worth it. The downside is that there are no 3D models outside of tartarus in this version but it’s not a game breaker if you can’t play FES. If you have only played P5 I’d recommend playing this game

I wish this game was better but overall it’s really solid. It’s the first “mainstream” SMT game in a long time so if you haven’t played a SMT game before this is the best one as of now. Gameplay is super straightforward and not to complicated compared to older SMT games so it’s a good entry point. Story is…fine but the gameplay is the best in the series so don’t expect a great plot.
I beg that this game gets a port on a better system because my switch wants to explode when I turn it on.
