I completed the base story mode of this game, from my understanding that's like swimming out over the Mariana Trench and just dunking your head under for a second.

I did enjoy it, though I picked the Charge Blade as my weapon - as a first timer. What was I gonna do, change weapons? It looked fucking sick. Anyway, I could see (and have witnessed) how enjoyable this series can be when you have a full squad of friends to wail on monsters with, but as a primarily solo gamer, it was a definite, grinding, brutal struggle at times. Gorgeous tho.
