This is definitely a game with flaws, despite my 5 star rating. There can be dissonance between a character and their treatment by the game at times. I'd definitely remove some of the romance options if I could (Oracle) - and maybe add a couple as well (Skull)... And maybe just a personal thing, but ideally I'd give a societal plot point or two to the Disco Elysium writers to really sharpen up that ol' rebellious spirit.
But it is so relentlessly stylish, polished, atmospheric, expansive; full of strong characters striving to come together to overcome injustice, to confront society and themselves. I never expected to get so involved with the battle or fusion mechanics, play out Joker's life and character arc, or drive around in my best catbus-friend hunting down stamps in a Freudian para-societal maze. The soundtrack is rightly rated as one of the best of recent times, and it is made all the stronger for feeling like a stage for a fantastic performance. A game to play and replay - a world to win.
