I think TOTK really improves on its predecessor, breath of the wild, in many ways. First the shines in this game are much more fun and engaging, which is good because your likely to do a lot a shrines. Next is the weapon system. The devs didn't fix how weapons break alot, but due to the new fuse mechanic, you can use enemy remains such as horns and jaws to vastly improve your weapon. Since your able to fuse anything onto anything else, you can find a wooden stick and fuse an Instead enemy horn to make it just as good as any other weapon. instead of like in BOTW where you fought enemies to get their weapons, now they are the weapon. Finally, the dungeons. There is technically six dungeons, but I'm only going to be talking about the main four. The dungeons in these games vastly improve the divine beasts for the first game. Instead of long and repetitive divine beasts, you now have vastly unique temples in all four regions. For example, you have the giant Wind temple high in the sky, where you need to climb an entire mountain, bounce off of floating ships, and go in the middle of a giant storm to reach the actual shrine. The water temple is also in the sky, but there's low gravity, so you can make longer jumps and reach more areas. The fire temple is a huge temple underground were you need to navigate through minecarts to reach the different areas. And finally the lightning temple, a giant pyramid similar to traditional 3d Zelda dungeons. There is much more I could talk about, the abilities, the Zonai devices, the huge map, the story, etc, but I would probably go on for too long. I'm not yet finished the game yet, but I'm pretty close. New favorite game 5/5 would recommend
