Maybe if I'd gotten to this before TUNIC, I'd feel better about it. Afterward, this feels like another imitation. Cute character designs, but frustrating combat and samey exploration that even with only 3 laps thru the same style dungeons it overstayed its welcome for me.

The penultimate boss is the game's best, striking in presentation and fun to fight. Glad I got there. After a handful of attempts at the frustratingly protracted final boss I'm putting this down. Not invested in any part of it enough to continue to the credits.
