I remember buying OW for 25 bucks back then when the game was only available in the Battle.net launcher, and playing a lot with some friends. The game was also infuriating at times back then but wasn't THIS bad. It's very sad window shoping the in-game store and seeing skin packs that i got for free for 45 bucks.
Let's address the elephant in the room: this isn't Overwatch 2. There is no such thing as Overwatch 2. Blizzard straight up repacked Overwatch, filled it to the brim with microtransactions, rebalanced (awfully) the game, and sold you lies and promises that I am sure that they never intended to fulfill.
