I really enjoy this game, I haven't gone back to play a lot of the dlcs. I'd rather tell you what I don't like about the game so you can decide if you want to play it anyways. As you continue to unlock stuff you increase your pool of tools & weapons you are unfamiliar with and will have less opportunities to get far & successfully complete a run. Once you beat bosses you have optional difficulty modes that have different pools of enemies than they usually have. My biggest problem with these additionally difficulty runs is that they expect you to go exactly as far with 50% less healing from potions. For me this felt like a lazy way to inflate the difficulty and I wasn't enjoying my experience with the difficulty setting.
