An absolutely fantastic continuation of the story laid out in the previous game. The gameplay mechanics are fun and engaging, the characters are all endearing, and the story is one of the best in any JRPG. The only things holding it back from a full 5 stars are my own personal preferences. Things like a lack of party customization and largely underwhelming villains make it fall just short of perfection.
