I didn't actually like Bioshock all that much when I originally played it way back in the day, so I was surprised to revisit it (via the remaster) and discover I actually really enjoyed it. There are plenty of flaws; maxing out the wallet was a regular occurrence late in the game, and the crafting feature felt vestigial, like a half-baked idea that should've been cut later in development. Still, the opening sequence is terrific, and any game that depicts a libertarian utopia as being populated by a bunch of deranged freaks is gonna get high marks from yours truly.
