One of the most celebrated games of all time, the original Final Fantasy VII is still great. Although some of its aspects and mechanics are a bit outdated, it still plays well, has good pacing and features a nice story. Particularly, Cloud's character development is one of my favorite in all of Final Fantasy.

Completely recommended.

For my last playthrough I played through the Switch port, but I don't believe the slight improvements made much of a change over the original.
