Great combat system that seems simple on the surface, but gets surprisingly complex and strategic by the end. I personally also loved the crystarium skill system too (especially once it really starts to brand out and become unrestricted). The fights and boss battles were mostly pretty good too.

However the story and writing as a whole is just utter dogshit. Just complete nonsense that barely makes you motivated to push through this 45 hour+ game. I legitimately will recommend you turn your brain off, even though it probably will by the end anyways
