This is definitely the most rounded classic puyo puyo game. It fixes literally every problem with the first puyo puyo to create a more interesting and competitive experience, and it doesn't do anything gimmicky like 3 or 4 do. This is like puyo puyo championship edition i guess. It's probably one of the best competitive puzzle games you can get and theres a reason why the series has stuck around for so long. The games been rereleased a bazillion times so stop playing the funny meme localized retro puyo games based off of puyo 1 and start playin the real good shit baybee
