Bloodborne is a masterpiece. This isn't exxactly an uncommon opinion, but the sum of its parts really come to form something that is as close to perfect as a piece of media can be, in my opinion. Fromsoftware excels at environmental storytelling that is equally beautiful as it is horrifying. While not as expansive as other games in the series, Bloodborne's world feels the most alive and all of its characters provide key insight to the state of the world and the hopelessness brought forth by the selfish will of the Great Ones.
