Timelie gave me an unexpectedly beautiful experience. The stealth gameplay is simple, but was a lot of fun for me during my five hour of play time. In addition, the simple premise continually expands in gameplay and level design and offers some interesting ideas.

What really made it enjoyable for me, however, was the narrative. The first chapters are very restrained and in places nothing is told except the pure events of the gameplay. The game is very minimalistic and only reaches a narrative depth at the end. The occasional allusions to determinism, as well as the girl's emotional ties to the cat, give the finale a twist in which a clear, important message is revealed. Timelie achieves more with very few narrative elements than some other games.
