Doom (2016) singlehandedly revived the boomer shooter genre with it's dynamic and fun gameplay. But gameplay itself can't carry a game. I'm glad that the game is short because it was getting stale. While levels on Mars were pretty good and they weren't limited to a corridor but it felt like an open system where you can explore every room, even if it was below or above you. But levels in hell were so boring and uninspiring. At times, they were tedious to complete. Bosses come pretty late in the game and they are probably the weakest part of the game. They weren't memorable and they were easy enough for me to beat them in one life. Story is good, it serves that lone, badass warrior fantasy well.

Overall, Doom (2016) is a great game but it's getting stale towards the end. A must-play for every FPS fan.

I would want to write a long review but I won't cause I got Helldivers 2 to play. Anyway, I never played any other Max Payne games, so I won't be comparing this one to the others. The gameplay is so amazing. Rockstar used their Euphoria engine pretty well. The story is solid, graphics are good for an 11-year-old game. Y'know yadda yadda, everything is good. But one issue I have with this game is the difficulty. On normal difficulty, sometimes it's too hard. Like man, how many fucking enemies you gon' put here? Aside from that, It's a solid 8/10. And goddammit, HEALTH delivered such a great soundtrack. You gotta listen to it.

Wolfenstein: Old Blood...
A prequel to one of the best FPS games of the past decade. There's no way that this game would be better than New Order, right? Yes, you're right. The game is a serviceable prequel at its worst and an alright shooter at its best. The problem with the game is that the best parts of it are from The New Order. I'm not saying that it's bad because what new could they bring to the table? It's a darn prequel. But one thing that itches my butt is bosses. The bosses are so boring and unmemorable. You think - alright, Rudi Jaeger seems like a crazy bastard? I'm sure we are going to get a great memorable boss! Nope. Shoot the two little "lights" near his head. Remove 3 parts from his armor and shoot him till he dies. Alright, you move on to the "2nd part" of the game. You meet Helga and you think to yourself - now, it's gonna be an actual great boss fight! Nope, Wolfburg happened to be attacked by an army of undead. You fight with them to reach Helga. You end up in a crypt where she summons some little monster bitch that eats her and her nazi "friend". So what do you do? You fight him but the thing is... You have to keep on shooting his mouth until he dies. And some nazis step in your way but that monster kills them too so in the end, you don't even have to shoot them. While the bosses might be underwhelming, the overall atmosphere and levels look wonderful - especially Castle Wolfenstein and the scenery around it. The graphics and cutscenes still hold up pretty well.
