when she first showed up i almost jumped off my bed like BELT WOMAN…..!!!! hoooly shit i liked tidus’ design but i dont know if any other character design in ffx will top her for me she’s so peak

was like man i wanna play something chill as i fall asleep (i conked out hard) so i played a little of x and i'm barely scratching at anything here but every session does leave me slightly more invested. i'm noticing lots of specific things i like.
The narration and reflection on tidus' part (whom i've named mareas lol) is amazing- it's, the fact that i'm getting both his current perspective (his emotiveness is amazing, he demonstrates so much character that i'm very endeared to) and his supposed future perspective (basically getting character growth crazy fast) is so yum
one of my favorite movies (y tu mamá también) does the same thing in that sense of the depth of self reflection thru "live" narration, as it recognizes tidus' character a result of the various facets of his upbringing, and not just like, one key event like so many other rpgs like to do

god the attacking animations in battle are so cool
