As a casual player, not so familiar with the "Souls" series, i REALLY liked it. Elden Ring is an "welcome letter" to new players who didn't had a chance to play other souls games. AN AWESOME open world game, with each dungeon, area and enemies being a surprise, who makes you think to level up, and prioritize the exploration in the game. AWESOME soundtracks, level design and a huge variety of weapons and armor. The masterpiece experience for new players.
The hardest the game becomes, more you want to play. That feeling of achievement everytime you defeat a hard boss, it's priceless. Definetly deserved the 2022 GOTY.
I've beat it on PS4, and the performance was "stable". Some 4 fps drops on limgrave, but not something to be stressed with. 0 Crashes and bugs.
A huge experience, who opened the doors for me, to experience other From's Souls like games.
