The aesthetic, the music, the overall atmosphere of this game, all peak. This is my favorite sonic game, and I get why some people don't like it, but there's just something here that really grabbed me. As much as I also like SA2, it's so vastly different in design and really just in general, that it doesn't scratch the same itch.
