A heavily inspired and beautiful game. At its core, Signalis fixes gameplay issues that have plagued the top-down survival horror genre since its inception. But at its full execution, it delivers a deep story told and unraveled in the vein of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Nier Automata. A fulfilling experience from start to finish with a beautiful and inspired aesthetic, a tight grasp on its identity, and delivery with barely any deviation from what it sets out to accomplish. My only quarrel being the aiming on gamepad could have been made more reliable, I often found my crosshair not locking to my intended target.
