geniunely one of the clunkiest games i have ever played. jet set radio tries to emulate the "tony hawks pro skater" arcade style of skating, however with inlines instead of skateboards. with the way that jet set radio controls, it is incredibly difficult to move accurately, especially in the air, such as when trying to jump from one railing to another, you practically have to pray and spam Y to get onto the other rail, or else you fall and slowly have to climb back to where you started. while it is a core feature of the game and what makes it difficult, the police of tokyo-to are incredibly annoying to deal with, and act more like nuisances than enemies to avoid. the only thing that carries this game is the aesthetic and music, however it falls flat with overall gameplay
