This is a series that has been on my radar for years but I never got around to it until now... I wish I did it sooner! This game was a wonderful, joyful breath of fresh air. The simple rolling gameplay was both satisfying and inventive, using both the analog sticks to control this ever growing ball was a very unique and clever way to go. Seeing your katamari grow larger and larger never gets old, going from absorbing small plants to buildings and kaiju is a wonderful gameplay loop. Add on some wonderful stylized visuals, humor, and a one of a kind soundtrack and you have yourself a great game.
