+ Gorgeous yet sinister environments really stand out
+ Great, memorable boss fights are challenging yet fair
+ Solid platforming

± The game is structured like Hollow Knight, but the combat and itemization have more of a Souls-like flavor. I wouldn't put it on the same level as HK, but that's a high bar

- Enigmatic story/dialogue/lore felt forced and never clicked for me
- Character building can feel one-dimensional: almost entirely melee-only; abilities are mostly passive and not easily swappable; stats don't affect much
- Struggled with an annoying bug where the controller stops working when I alt-tab out (until replugging it)
