I think my expectations may have been wrong, but "Warhammer 40K: Darktide" didn't really catch me. After a few rounds, it became too repetitive for me. However, I also have to say that the technical performance on the Xbox Series S was simply not good.

Resident Evil 4 only thrilled me at times, but often disappointed and annoyed me. It's a remake of a game that was revolutionary in 2005, but which I didn't play and therefore can't get over what was standard in a 2005 game with nostalgia. However, if these things were heavily modified, it would probably have failed as a remake as well, which is why I'm actually only disappointed because it makes an effort to recapture the feel of the classic. This is especially true for the abstrusively stupid story, the visually boring levels in the beginning and the focus on completely overstaged action instead of scares and horror. But later on there are still levels that I liked and also really scary passages. Personally, however, they came too rarely and I found the whole game to be a single escort mission generally very exhausting. Ashley is unfortunately not an interesting character or contributes anything else. I think the problem is ultimately me and my too modern gaming habits, because the rest of the world loves the remake apparently.

Childhood in the qualitatively highest possible form. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is just that for me. Sure, there's a lot of nostalgia involved here because this game series brought me into the world of gaming and I loved all the old parts on the first Playstations and played through them multiple times, but Rift Apart is a terrific game for me outside of that as well.

The story is simple (as always), but with Rivet and Kit there are new characters that support the multiverse approach as well as expand the lore and provide two additional playable Storys.

The power of the Ps5 is put to great use by jumping from dimension holes to completely new levels without loading time. And the world is designed even more than in the predecessors with many loving details. The game Just looks stunning.

Gameplay is as intuitive as it is fun. In combat, the many movement options, enemy types and different weapons create a flow that is unparalleled and absolutely addictive.
Love this game.

I was extremely looking forward to Atomic Heart because it looked like a game like Bioshock in 1950s alternative Russia. That's more or less what it is. The retro-futuristic aesthetics Are beautiful and the world itself seems coherent. I really liked everything about the gameplay, it plays smoothly and the battles are massive. The main character was the biggest problem for me because he plays dumb all the time. But the story becomes very exciting towards the end and for a Double A game it is also neatly staged. However, I missed a few more abilities and the open world is a joke. Only scenery, nothing to discover. In addition, it is sometimes too close to Bioshock, but then not as clever and good.

Perfect Sequel that Improves on every Aspect of the already breathtaking Predecessor
