i saw the cover art and the reviews and the gimmick and knew that there was no way i wasn't gonna enjoy this game. still, i went in with my expectations low and... you know, i probably didn't need to. for all that gamers will complain about the glitches and the ugly graphics and the cyber-seduction-esque acting, its still more memorable than all of the slop that tops the sales charts every year. because nothing can compare to the quiet man. intentional or not, this is the most unique video game i've ever played and it should be approached on its own terms even if it doesn't deserve it. try to piece together the story instead of just laughing at the gimmick. exploit the broken combat. the pacing is absolute wackjob shit (i'm a sucker for the "cram an entire plot into one night" format) so if you're bored of whatever's happening, i guarantee you won't be in five minutes. wish this got a physical copy, i would buy it in a heartbeat.

expanded review at my blog, if you're interested. check it out
