this game was really cool starting out! i love the character designs and the combat is really satisfying! they took the sekiro parry system and ran with it, and when it works it REALLY works. the bosses are kind of hit or miss though. some of them were really neat, and others were really, really not. goumang was such a cool character design and i'm so sad that her boss fight was so mid. i'm sorry. by contrast, general xingsian and the fuckin. crane thing?? those went hard. they both took me longer than i'd have liked but the satisfaction i got in beating them was insane. currently stopped at the jienhao fight, which i have no opinions on so far.

i also find the navigation really tiresome. it doesn't give you clear directions most of the time and i only just unlocked the fast travel system so i've spent way longer than i'd like just kind of. walking around. this might be just me being dumb but i'd like it if it was a little clearer.

i also find yi to be a really strange character. i love the questioning of his true motives the game seems to be hinting at, and the cutscenes of his (dead?) sister, but he just seems to be really unlikeable at every possible chance. he's kind of a huge dick to everyone all the time, and honestly? i am not a fan of that. he's really pretentious.

currently i'm just really not interested in finishing this. there's still like 5 sols left to kill but it feels like it's dragged on way too long already. i love so much about this game that i'll probably pick it up again later though! i have faith
