Alright, now that I'm done with all mainline Sonic games, it's time to check out some extra stuff, including games I skipped, fangames/romhacks and Sonic-adjacent games. Starting with this lovely gem.
I'm not really a fan of Sonic's western media. I didn't grow up with any of it, and I think he looks like an asshole most of the time.
I'm also not a fan of Pinball videogames. I like Pinball irl, the Star Wars machine over at the mall close to my place saw a fair share of quarters from me(R.I.P. my friend), but there's just something about Pinball games that feels lesser to me. No matter how hard I try, I just can't shake that nagging feeling of "What's the point? I could just go to an arcade and play on an actual Pinball machine."
Well now! I can't believe I'm dropping this one! Finished Toxic Caves and I'm calling it quits. Being able to move Sonic around doesn't add much to the experience, and the soundtrack sounds cheap. I'd say it looks nice, but the framerate gave me a headache, and again: Asshole Sonic design. Moving on.
