It's a really good game, it's just that the "roguelike" aspect doesn't add a lot. The actual city building itself is super solid, having different races be better at certain things and micromanaging all of that feels satisfying and fun. Though, when it comes to the roguelike bonuses that you get after completing a map that takes atleast 40 minutes, they don't really do much IMO. You can't really get any BROKEN combos, and no combos are really worth grinding for since they take ages to get. It's alright.
