Good game. I think it's a bit overstated just how good it is though. It's a well put together game with a good soundtrack, story, and great platforming. A good experience, but nothing groundbreaking or mind blowing here. Doesn't overstay it's welcome which I appreciate.

I'd like to dispute your claim that there was nothing groundbreaking about this game; while it might not seem that way on the surface there's a whole host of subtle gameplay tweaks to make the platforming as smooth as possible which have since become industry standard. Like an increasing number of 2D platformers will have a coyote timer system in place now, which is something this game invented.
