I haven't played a Fire Emblem since Awakening, so it was amazing to see how far this series has come in terms of quality of life features, gameplay advancements, and even just overall polish. Everything about this game is excellent, from the monastery to deepen relationships with your students and peers to the battle system to the sweeping plot. I do wish that there was more to do in the monastery in the second half of the game, it became a bit more of a chore when there weren't more relationships to build, but it didn't detract from this excellent game.
