This is a mediocre remake that cuts large sections from the original that added much of its originality when contrasted to RE:2. In the context of the modern remakes, now the games are just so damn similar that it hurts. Nemesis's presence is also severely lessened when compared to that of the original, and as such he ends up feeling like a lesser threat than Mr. X did in the prior game. Side note - this is also way less fun to speedrun than RE:2 Remake
