i know you're sayin' that as a dig but this is the first thing i've ever seen that actually made me want to give neon white a try (that said i get it, a lot of people i respect don't really vibe with drakengard 3 lol)
@theia i understand that everything dod3 is doing serves a greater narrative purpose and is in pursuit of something greater than the sum of its parts but that unfortunately doesn't change my tastes which virulently hate just about everything it's doing lol. neon white i don't even think is doing anything cool with it that game just SUCKS
outta curiosity how far did you get? not trying to change your mind esp because i agree to an extent, but i think the writing stops shitting itself after a bit - barring the jokes with the disciples which frankly never become funny

ok after fucking with neon white i kinda see what you mean, but like you said drakengard 3 is actually doing something with its irreverence instead of making me sit there reading fully voice acted reddit posts (also drakengard 3 is just pretty squarely feminine in perspective, whereas neon white kinda feels like super monkey ball for perverts)
nah. neon white comes off pretty fuckin gross to women while drak 3 is more female-empowering than anything and the horny bastards are the himbos zero enslaves
it should be iterated that i am not saying drakengard 3 is shallow, meaningless or without merit, i am saying that i think it's annoying and that i don't like it
