I wondered what they'd do with powerups if not just give juste souls which they probably can't because he is a belmont. I like what they did giving different element types of each sub weapon. Very fun
Pretty light on secrets which was okay, makes completing the map real easy
Music gets kinda grating. Looked pretty nice.
Combat is generally a bit harder than like AoS and stuff because you are forced to use a whip that always has lag upon landing, but you could cancel it easily with your ground dash which is pretty fun to try to do. I liked being forced to try to make a slower weapon work
Traversing the castle itself can be the difficult part, but most of the bosses are actually really easy, some disappointingly so.
almost every other metroidvania castlevania is better but this is still pretty good
