i have played this game 5 years ago. i have thought about it almost every day since then.
i will never understand people who think automata pales in comparison to gestalt/replicant. automata features all of its predecessor's themes and builds upon them in a more complex and nuanced way, alongside being about so many other things.
a thesis on humanity.

Very interesting subversion of eroge and dating simulators with much to think about and mull over, sadly the sex scenes were written by someone who has never seen or touched a woman in their life and I do not understand if it's intentional or not. Either the writers somehow made a game supposed to criticize the exact type of people they are and just didn't realize it, or it's intentional and this game is incredible.
I don't know.
Worth playing anyway.

honestly really sad game because i played it all the time with a friend in high school together but he dropped out and now lives in another city and i miss him so much
