I had no idea EA published this game. For a 2011 game the game has really good graphics and gunplay. The story is pretty decent with the aliens and the marines, but the mission design and the combat is what makes the game fun to play.
The music is just as good as the graphics as it was composed by HANS ZIMMER. I still can't believe they got Hans Zimmer to make music for the game. The music really adds to the gameplay that'll make the gameplay feel like a movie.
Being a "stealth games enjoyer", the game has amazing stealth mechanics that make the game even more fun and can result in some funny moments. Overall the game is very enjoyable and I'd recommend it 👍

man I love analog horror . . .

Great game, would definitely recommend if you love Hack n' Slash. The storytelling is amazing though there aren't many cutscenes. The combat is very fun and enjoyable. If you've played Devil May Cry, you will love this.
The boss fights are fun too, they might look easy but you can always crank up the difficulty, if you want a challenge.
Another part that made me love this game was the multiple endings. There are 5 main endings and 21 alternate/joke endings.

Some parts in the game might get kinda philosophical, but I think it fits the plot really well. The game talks about the conflict between the robots and the androids, but the most interesting part is, some robots have developed emotions and started behaving like humans, whereas the androids (who are meant to protect humanity) have forgotten everything about the humans.

If you've enjoyed the game, watch the anime. It's the perfect adaptation of the game. There are some changes here and there, but everything that's in the game is present in the anime, from the cutscenes to music to dialogs.
