it's such a scream that this experience is miles different when playing with prior knowledge and/or unlocks vs a fresh run (or god forbid an attempt of hard mode which is by far the worst in the series).

this will never be a favorite of mine but when you remove the potential for fucking yourself over with inventory or character swapping clownery and know how to best deal with the enemy types it allows you to enjoy the things that the game does do well. in this case it's mainly just the incredible aesthetics (i wish Capcom had the assets for the REmake remaster so it could've turned out this well) and music.

Rebecca is still a flop.
