REmake 4 prep still. gonna be cutting it really close with trying to fit all of this shit in but i'm determined.
somedays i really can see this as the best Resident Evil game even though i generally lean towards REmake. such a wonderful atmosphere between the setting, sound design, music (including both soundtracks tbh, once you get past the blatantly bad ones like the Mansion Basement and Plant 42 one in the Dualshock Version that one is mostly fine too), and gameplay intensity.
the only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 upon this replay was some of the enemy behaviors with invincibility frames. if some of the improvements that came with enemy combat (being able to shoot enemies when they were standing/downed consistently, mainly) i would probably be able to bump it. i'm probably going to do it one of these days regardless.
