Umineko no Naku Koro ni
the first half of the umineko experience is amazing. genuinely one of the best narratives i've experienced. i love every single character, even the ones that are extremely unlikable.
the music is amazing. the writing is amazing. the philosophy? oh yea its amazing.
i can't say that much since it's only the question arcs, but i LOVE umineko. after all, without love, it can't be seen...

Psychonauts 2
i'm absolutely impressed with psychonauts 2.
it definitely has the vibe of a modern kids movie - except in this game, it's actually about something. a lot of things, even. lots of real world issues are brought up but the core theme is pretty much mental health. and it's handled superbly honestly!
platforming is very satisfying, feels just the right amount of floaty, and the abilities allow for some nice skill expression. honestly tho, an aspect i wasn't expecting to love is the combat. it is kinda annoying only having 4 abilities accessible at a time, but i guess that's just the limitations of having a usable control layout. the bosses are pretty good, the cooking show level is a little whatever but i do dig the vibes.
this game is not only fun, but based as fuck. we need more all-ages media that isn't scared to talk about something meaningful, especially nowadays.
