My first play through amounted to 110 hours and rarely did I find it a drag. The earlier exploration was magical and the best way I have to describe it is as what I thought The Ringed City was going to be: a place where whatever is in your sight can be explored.
While in exploration this is my favourite FromSoft's game by a mile and a half, I can't help but to think Dark Souls 3 linearity made the game a more well presented experience. Maybe this is first game bias mixed with nostalgia, but I digress.
Since I have thoroughly explored everything that there is to explore, I still have one last task to do before putting this game to rest, until the DLC comes out. Melania, the blade of Miquella; or, as I now know her: "let your flesh be consumed by the scarlet rot." No, seriously, Melania is "step on my mommy" personified.
