The best survival horror resident evil game, although with its flaws, it reinitialized resident evil, and to a lesser extent survival horror.
Cheesy, tense, and scary, it's everything Resident Evil should be. With satisfying puzzles, and interesting story and characters (for the most part).
The reason this looses a few stars is because of the final area, and Mia Winters. The final ship area is kinda annoying and tedious, and Mia Winters is the true villain of this story, AND THE GAME NEVER SHOWS HER IN THAT LIGHT.
She is a member of a terrorist group that is SMUGGLING A BIOWEAPON/CHILD AND THE NARRATIVE TREATS HER LIKE A VICTIM.

Although basically a really really really long movie, Red Dead Redemption 2's story, world and characters completely make up for the lack of gameplay. This game destroyed me, I am not the same person afterwards.
