I'll never forget how mind-blowing this was when it first released, but it's very dated by today's standards. The 3DS remake is the way to go.

General QOL improvements, portability, ability to access the menu with the touch screen makes areas such as the Water Temple more palatable, improved visuals are nice, Master Quest included, and Link has spatial awareness: he'll glance at objects in the environment to point unfamiliar players in the right direction. I think Majora's Mask 3D is lesser in some ways compared to that game's original release, but as someone who spent half their life playing OOT on N64, I would rather play the 3DS version.
