God of War Ragnarok has a special place in my heart. I played it only a few months after my first God of War playthrough, so the story was still fresh in my mind. Ragnarok almost felt like the same story but extended, which made me very happy. I love all the characters in these games so much, as well as the narrative and world. But i think the best part is the epic scale and awesome nature of the experience. The way that *SPOILER ALERT*** Atreus breaks off of Kratos and goes on his own, awesome adventure, which feels so grand and fun. The gimmick of having one stable camera then entire time also makes me so insanely happy for no good reason. Also, just the epic, jaw-dropping cinematics in this game made possible by the power of the PS5 are just so beautiful. You must play the first game to enjoy Ragnarok to its fullest, because of its insane number of tie-in events, but it is a must play, even more so than the original, once you have beaten god of war. 5/5 stars
