This game is an absolute achievement in storytelling. On the one hand, given my mixed feelings about Alan Wake 1 I find myself in disbelief that they managed to turn the sequel into a borderline masterpiece. But on the other hand - it's all there. All the pieces were there and Remedy knew it, they just had to keep faith and make this game and show us the way. I'm so grateful that this game exists, it really feels like it will be looked back on as a landmark in gaming years from now.
