- visually very stunning
- i like how open some of the levels are
- cool weapons ig
- liked the side quests
- playing glitch was cool
but (Spoiler ??)
- what’s the story ?
- literally no additional lombax lore
- the humor was… definitely something
- repetitive mini bosses
- arena was fun
- easy platinum (1st play through) so that was cool… i guess

My favorite so far in the series. Last episode wasn’t that good.

i liked the ending i got. first 2 episodes were… eh (3-3.5)
-Edit (12/28)-
Looking back at clips of the first 2 episodes, I found myself remembering I did like them, especially the second one. Yes, on the second half of episode one and most of episode two there was not much to do, not much action like in the first game. But i don’t think I should’ve been comparing two different stories. While i did enjoy the first game more, the second one stuck with me. After finishing the first game, i moved on from the ending, but with the second, I didn’t. It’s been three days, not a long time but still, I’m thinking about the story of sean and daniel.
The topics of family, grief, friendship, and - most importantly - brotherhood, all touched and emotionally affected me. Another thing that made me change my opinion of the game is the character of sean. Who i think might continue be one of my favorite video game characters. Starting the game getting ready to go to a party and ending up getting caught up in a tragic -yet beautiful- storyline. Sean, a 3d pixel character, is someone i wish were real so i can give the biggest hug to, made the game for me.
As the game progressed and I saw scenes of sean and daniel’s bond growing stronger, the conversation between sean and karen, the scene in episode 5 with the lanterns, etc. I started to grow love towards it. That love only grew the last 10 minutes or so, as sean was telling daniel how the story of the wolf brothers ended, leading daniel to destroy the police, and getting their “happy” ending in Puerto Lobos.
Everything about this game, especially the love and bond between sean and daniel and all the endings, truly touched me. I haven’t played much games (literally only 3 others) and one of those being Silent Hill 2 -deemed one of the “saddest video games ever”- yet, this is the only that truly moved me so far.
The post game depression is beating my ass because of this game.
