Ape Escape Academy

released on Dec 30, 2004

Ape Escape Academy sees you taking on the role of one of the cheeky monkeys from the Ape Escape series. Choose your chimp, then prepare to tackle various classes in Academy Mode. Each 'class' is actually a mini-game. Your goal is to complete as many mini-games as possible from the 9x9 grid, and score as many lines as you can (sort of like Noughts and Crosses). Mini-games range from mind-bending quizzes to wacky sports games, to the just plain silly, like protecting a roast banana from oncoming apes, or flying through the sky delivering parachutes to plummeting primates.

Super Unbalanced Minigames. Some are super easy while others are insanely difficult. To enter the final stage you have to get a perfect on each class and beat the bonus minigames which is anything but easy. There are many good minigames and it was always fun playing them with friends.

This game is still a classic psp game and one of the hardest games I have beaten.

This game tries to be a blend of both Mario Party and WarioWare, but the execution turns out to be quite average. The controls are sluggish at times, the Academy Mode is a bit lazy, and there's not much replayability with the minigames since they're really short.

The game is fun but it can be irritating, remembered it to be better when I used to play it on my younger days

Unfortunately no, there isn't a romance mechanic.
