A port of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition for Wii arms you with an arsenal of advanced and powerful weaponry and transports you to the most dangerous hotspots around the globe to take on a rogue enemy threatening the world. As both a U.S. Marine and British S.A.S soldier fighting through an unfolding story full of twists and turns, use sophisticated technology, superior firepower, and coordinated land and air strikes on a battlefield where speed, accuracy, and communication are essential to victory. Modern Warfare - Reflex Edition was ported by Treyarch. The Wii version of Modern Warfare has fewer features than the other console versions. It does not support split-screen multiplayer, and the graphics are not as developed. IGN gave the Wii version of the game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex Edition, a score of 7.0, saying the visuals and pointer controls are not as polished as the Wii version of World at War, though they did mention the customization options and multiplayer are impressive.

It has the absolute best motion controls in ANY Wii game. This is not a debate. You can literally customize every single button, every single motion and gesture, however you want. The control settings are infinite. You can create your ideal perfect control setup.
And keep in mind, this is the ONLY COD game where every single player had to use Wii Remote and Nunchuck. So multiplayer was very slow paced, actually using team work and covering each other. Hands down the most unique cod experience you could have.
The single player is iconic for its story, but performance wise it sucks. So it gets a point off for that.
You sadly cannot play online anymore, but I am thankful to have been able to do so, because it was special and fun.
While this isn't the ideal way to play the original, it's still a great port for the Wii, having good visuals for Wii standards and controls that work surprisingly well too, even if it's much more preferable to play this with a traditional controller. The performance suffers here and there, but this is the Wii, so it can't really be helped. Still one of the best shooters on the platform.
