Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is a horror action adventure spin-off game in the Danganronpa series of visual novel games, taking place between the events of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. Unlike the visual novel gameplay of the previous games, Ultra Despair Girls is a third-person adventure game with horror elements, in which players control Komaru Naegi as she tries to survive in a city overrun by Monokuma robots.

besides the ending of chapter 3,its one of the coolest games ive played
vile and disgusting in ways that aren’t interesting or fun, yet satisfying to the part of me that loves these characters, their voices, takada’s nightmare soundscapes—it’s fangirl serotonin. an acquired taste in self loathing, stockholm syndrome, and bad video games. DO NOT PLAY
not into shooters but i played it because i liked the previous danganronpa games. worth it because byakuya was in it and because they made toko's character 900% better. still hate komaru though.

Played this well before Reload. Strangely, enjoyed this one far more than the mainline games.

1. he thinks the first game is fine, down to continue the rest of the franchise after a fishy QR code download for the entire series is the Twitter meme of the week
2. He insists on doing UDG, even though I tell him we could skip it if he wants
3. bring up a segment in chapter 3 is the reason this game didn't get a Switch port and don't elaborate. This causes the stream to get too many viewers, some of which know nothing about Danganronpa, out of morbid curiosity
